In my textual analysis, I am focusing on the movies; "Juno" and "We need to talk about Kevin", analyzing the representation of stereotypes in mothers.
Therefore, for my Module 3 Creative Artefact project, I have decided to chose the Hollywood film; Juno, in addition to making the decision of producing a scene from the "sequel" from the film.
Moreover, the reason why I have decided to chose to undertake the task of creating a Juno sequel scene is because I feel that Juno has less of a complex story line to the depressing story line of We need to talk about Kevin, which I personally feel would allow me to wider/develop my creative ideas due to the humorous mood that Juno is set around, rather than to the more dramatic and seriousness of We need to talk about Kevin.
Furthermore, I feel that Juno is a more of a well-known film within the film industry, obtaining high success, allowing me to include iconic moments/shots/quotes from the original movie within the sequel, allowing for the audience to reminisce memorable iconic moments from the original movie, as well as the characters in the original movie have very distinctive and unique character traits that i could include within my movie to make sure my sequel still has a strong connection to the original.
Overall, I am more familiar with the story line of Juno, therefore allowing me to analyse the film intensely, resulting me to produce a successful sequel scene for my creative artefact.
